xli v1.15 is publicly available image modification software for UNIX.

xli allows you to modify images in various ways before viewing; options include clipping, dithering, depth reduction, zooming, brightening, darkening, gamma correction, and image merging. Supported formats include CMU, GEM, GIF (87a and 89a), JFIF, Macintosh Paint, PCX, Sun Raster, TGA, Utah RLE, various X formats, and those used by the pbmplus and FBM software.

xli is in the directory /software/unix/xli on the CD-ROM. xli is from Graeme Gill.
